RIDBC Old MacDonald App

At the beginning of the year I worked on a series of educational apps for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) and I am pleased to say that the first one has finally been launched! Yay! Old MacDonald is the first in a series of six apps for the iphone and ipad and it is aimed at helping children – including those who are deaf or hearing impaired – to develop their listening and language skills. Having never worked on an app before I was super excited when RIDBC approached me to illustrate them. It was such a fun project as I had not done a lot of animation before either so it was great to work in a different format. Aimed at little ones between 2 and 5, the app includes games like help Old MacDonald on the farm, create your own animal sounds and even has a karaoke section! Below are some screen shots from the app and you can see more of the illustrations in my portfolio.
